About Healder

Healder helps parents or elders connect with children or family caregivers through linked family profiles, health and routine reminders, notifications, and voice and video calls.

In this policy, “Healder,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to the team operating the Healder app. Healder is not a medical service and is not a replacement for emergency services or professional medical advice.

02

Information we collect

Account and profile information: an app-specific device identifier assigned by Apple, a user identifier, name, user role (parent/elder or child/caregiver), selected avatar, language preference, and authentication and session tokens.

Family connection information: temporary OTP codes and the identifiers, names, avatars, roles, and relationships between linked family profiles.

Reminder information: titles, notes, dates, times, repeat settings, categories, advance reminder settings, completion status, completion history, and an optional emoji or photo selected for a reminder.

Optional health information: date of birth, blood type, medical conditions, allergies, insurance provider, policy number, additional insurance information, and medical history. You may skip this information or update it later.

Notification and call information: Apple notification and VoIP tokens, call identifiers and status, participant names, channel names, and technical data needed to connect calls. Audio and video are processed live during a call.

Support information: your email address, message content, device or app version information, and attachments that you voluntarily provide when contacting support.

03

How we obtain information

We receive information directly when you complete a profile, enter health information, create a reminder, select a photo, connect a family member, make a call, or contact support.

The app also receives a device identifier, notification tokens, and technical call information from your device and Apple services to provide authentication, notifications, and incoming calls.

04

How we use information

We use information to create and recognize your account; display and update profiles; connect family profiles using OTP codes; store, deliver, and track reminders; display notifications; provide voice and video calls; and provide SOS and user-support features.

We may also use technical information to protect the service, diagnose problems, prevent misuse, and improve app reliability. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

05

Device permissions

The camera sends video during calls. The microphone sends audio during calls. Notifications provide reminders, completion updates, and incoming-call alerts. Photo access is used only when you select an image for a reminder; Healder does not upload your entire photo library.

You can deny or withdraw camera, microphone, photo, and notification permissions in iOS Settings. Some features may not work without the required permissions.

06

Sharing and service providers

Relevant information is shared with family members you link because this is required for Healder’s core functions, such as viewing profiles, creating or receiving reminders, monitoring reminder completion, and making calls.

We use service providers to store data, operate the service, process real-time voice and video communications, and deliver notifications and incoming calls. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Healder.

We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users and the service. We do not sell your information to anyone.

07

Voice and video calls

The camera and microphone are used only to enable calls after permission is granted. Audio and video streams are transmitted in real time through a communication service provider and are not recorded or stored by Healder.

Call signaling and status data, such as call identifiers, participants, channels, and start or end events, may be processed to connect and manage calls.

08

Storage and security

Account, profile, family relationship, health, reminder, notification, and call information is stored or processed through Healder’s systems and the service providers listed above. Session tokens, user profile information, language preference, and some settings may be stored locally on your device.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

09

Data retention

Account data and related information are kept while your account is active or for as long as needed to provide Healder’s features. Call streams are not recorded or retained.

When data or an account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize associated information unless certain information must be retained for legal obligations, security, misuse prevention, or dispute resolution.

10

Your choices and rights

You can edit your name and avatar from the Profile tab, manage linked family members, delete reminders, and control app permissions in iOS Settings.

To request access, correction, or deletion of your account and related data, contact healder.apps@gmail.com. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity and protect your account before processing a request.

11

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when Healder’s features or data practices change. The latest revision date will appear at the top of this page, and we will provide appropriate notice if a change is significant.
